Eyelash TintingEyelash tinting is a form of semi permanent colouring that is used to darken light coloured eyebrows and eye lashes. There are many types of dyes used to facilitate this process but the best type are the vegetable dyes. You should never attempt to dye them yourself; especially using any type of boxed at-home hair dye as injury or blindness could be the end result.
Eyelash tinting is highly recommended for lashes and brows that are blonde, red or light brown, as it will save you a lot of money that would usually be spent on mascara. Eyelash tinting will last approximately four weeks before you need to get it done again. The results will only last a week or two if you swim a lot in a chlorinated pool, as the chlorine tends to bleach out the eyelash dye.
Tinting will not lengthen and thicken lashes like mascara but it will colour your lashes down to the roots so that they will look fuller and thicker. If you do wear mascara the effect will be even more magnificent.
