Treatments for acne, blackheads and whiteheads with special creams that contain vitamin A or fruit and milk based acids can also qualify as being facial therapy.
In essence any type of procedure that improves the texture, colour and surface of the complexion in any way can qualify as facial therapy. Even procedures that are laser-based, such as the use of a laser to remove sunspots or freckles can be referred to sometimes as facial therapy.
