Problems such as heel pain, plant fascistic, bunions, toe problems, ball of the foot pain and excess pronation (turning in of the foot) are usually cured by special inserts into the shoe called orthotics. These are usually custom made fro you by a specialist but you can also get over the counter types that are simple gel inserts.

If the problem is toe fungus or Athlete’s foot an anti-fungal medication can be bought over the counter to help solve the problem. The chemical that is most used to combat this problem is called clotrimazole and it prevents fungal infections.

Smelly feet can also be remedied with various powders that are sprinkled inside the shoe. Many of these powders contain odour absorbing ingredients like charcoal or baking soda. They can also contain essential oils such as eucalyptus, rosemary and lavender which can help to disguise odours. Manuka oil and zinc oxide are also sometimes used to help deodorise and moisturise smelly feet.
