Lip Bleach

If you have dark lips you can buy lip bleach to help lighten the colour of them. Smoking or drinking too much coffee to tea causes most often black lips. Taking less of these substances in will go a long way to helping them lighten up in colour. Nicotine in particular darkens lip colour considerably especially if you are Asian, Indian or African in heritage.

Another trick to lighten the look of lips into apply lemon juice to them daily. Lemon juice is natural lip bleach. Indian women sometimes use ghee to bleach their lips at night. Ghee also keeps lips natural and moisturised looking.

If your lips are really dark in colour then try applying sunscreen to them. Too much ultraviolet light from the sun can cause lips to darken in hue. Using old or cheap lipsticks can also cause the problem to get worse. Never use old or expired lip products on your lips.
