Temporary TattooA temporary tattoo is an image on the skin looks a great deal like a real tattoo, but is non-permanent. These temporary tattoos can be drawn, painted, or airbrushed, but most of the time these tattoos are transferred to the skin with a rub on stencil of some sort.
Transfer temporary tattoos are usually applied by removing the plastic sheet, placing the image face down against the skin and moistening the backing with a wet paper towel or clothe. The backing can then be carefully removed, leaving the image in place. These tattoos usually last through a few dips in the pool or showerings. If they need to be removed fast rubbing alcohol does the trick.
Temporary tattoos are considered to be a fun item. They used to be a free give away in packs of bubblegum. Nowadays they are used to do everything from celebrate a company’s logo at an office party to mark the member’s of a bridesmaid’s party.
