Cosmoderm and Cosmoplast are derived from deceased humans. This is a type of collagen filler that is used often and successfully to plump up aging human tissue. A similar type of injectable is called Radiesse (sometimes called Radiance) and it is made from calcium.
Another common product used to fill wrinkles is called Restylane. It is made from biodegradable hyaluronic acid which is also found in the human body.
There is also a procedure called autologous fat transfer where fat is transferred from the buttocks or thighs to be transplanted into a person’s face to fill in wrinkles.
