Getting a spray tan is one of the easiest ways to achieve a tan without exposing yourself to harmful ultra violet rays from tanning beds or the sun. You can get a spray tan in a professional salon or spa. Some gymnasiums also offer spray tanning as a service.

Usually the facility has a spray tan voice, which resembles an enclosed shower stall. It sprays sunless tanning solution over the entire body. Some of these shower stalls are kiosks and they are very portable allowing you to transport them from place to place. You can even sometimes find a spray tan kiosk on a beach.

There is also a type of spray tan known as the airbrush spray tan. Professional technicians apply it and they are designed fro applying self-tanning sprays with LVLP and HVLP spray guns. These guns are more like misters and a spa or salon technician manually applies the tanning solution with the spray gun.
