Acne Scarring Treatment PerthThere are different types of acne scarring treatments available. If your acne scarring is severe you might want to consider going beyond the usual facial peels and Vitamin A creams. These creams may not completely eradicate big scars that have deep depression but they can improve skin tone.
One treatment for acne scars are the injectibles, also casually known as skin fillers or injectables. To minimise or completely get rid of acne scarring materials are injected into the depressed area left by the acne scar to level it out with the surrounding normal skin. There are several types of fillers available on the market that are both temporary and permanent fillers - examples are: Artecoll®, Zyplast®, Restylane®, and HylaForm®.
Some people who have acne scars have had some success with laser treatments. These treatments work by having the lasers stimulate the collagen beneath the skin so that the skin’s ability to heal itself is on its own. However not all laser acne treatments are helpful on all types of skins so be sure to consult your skin care professional before getting it.
Other successful treatments for acne scarring are microdemrabrasion and photo rejuvenation. Photo rejuvenation in which a broadband visible light is applied to the skin is most effective for mild cases of acne scarring.
