Technically organic products must be made out of fruits; oils or other natural substances that have been grown organically like organic oranges or organic jojoba oil. However a hair product does not have to call itself ‘certified organic.” It can simply refer to itself as simply “organic” because it is using natural scents or ingredients. To find truly organic hair products look for the “certified organic” phrase on the label and not just the word “organic”.
