The idea is that the individual will then rotate soaks in each pool in an attempt to relax, detoxify and beautify the body.
Hydrotherapy is also thought to have beneficial psychological effects such as relieving depression and nervous tension. It also relieves pain especially if the body is soaking in salted water of some kind.
