This can mean applying a skin colored tattoo over the offending design to try and make the area look like skin or it can mean altering an existing tattoo so that it is more to the person’s taste. A cosmetic tattoo is usually applied if a person has regrets about getting a tattoo in the first place. She has since had it partially removed with a laser and covered over with a new cosmetic ink tattoo that describes the longitude and latitudes of where her children were born.
